Applications to change OLC Scheme rules


The Scheme Rules are the framework that describes how the Legal Ombudsman resolves disputes in the legal jurisdiction.

Under section 155 of the Act, the OLC must obtain the consent of the LSB before making rules.

2019

11 February 2019: Proposal to remove reference to the CMC jurisdiction following their transfer to the FCA.

2018

8 March 2018: Proposal to make minor linguistic changes to the Scheme Rules on the language of complaints

2014

November 2014: Proposal for the inclusion of the CMC jurisdiction
