Flora Page KC steps down from the Legal Services Board

The Legal Services Board has confirmed that Flora Page KC has stepped down as a non-lay Board member. Flora Page gave notice of her intention to resign in March this year. The Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, Rt Hon David Lammy, agreed in April 2026 to Flora’s request to leave the Board with immediate effect.

Monisha Shah, Chair of the Legal Services Board, said:

“On behalf of the Board and Executive team, we thank Flora for her significant contribution to the LSB.

“As a practising barrister, Flora brought real first-hand expertise to our work. Her independence of mind and uncompromising focus on high standards helped shape the LSB’s thinking on professional ethics and the rule of law, particularly, always with the public interest at the centre.

“We wish her every success for the future.”

The Ministry of Justice will begin recruiting a new non-lay Board Member in due course.

Flora’s initial four-year term ran from 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2024. She was re-appointed for a second term from 1 August 2024.
